The Asthalin inhaler is a fast-acting drug intended to treat and alleviate the symptoms of respiratory disorders such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and asthma. It contains a bronchodilator called salbutamol (sometimes called albuterol), which relaxes the muscles in the airways to facilitate easier breathing. Asthalin is frequently used to treat acute asthma symptoms such tightness in the chest, wheezing, and shortness of breath. It can also be taken prior to exercise to avoid respiratory issues brought on by physical exertion. Although it provides immediate relief, it is not intended for long-term asthma management.
